XD
I think I was just banned by a community, wherein I didn't "have the right attitude." Alas, how will I LIVE with myself at night, having mildly mocked such genius statements as:
hahahaha. earlier today, you told me i was sore about yesterday's loss. look who's a little sore now! sorryyyy :)
and i feel bad that you spent your summer rejoicing and thinking the yankees wouldnt make it..what a waste of happiness!
...
Yeah. I spent my entire summer worrying about baseball. Except, oh wait, I didn't really.
And here's a statement from the moderator his/herself!:
BOSTON IS OUT!! Choke on this RedSox.
I'm heartbroken, guys. XD Getting banned from an online baseball community.
Hokay. Back to the grind!

and my guess is if you want to stay in yankees communities, you might not wanna start shit with the people that actually like the yankees. i dont know why you were a part of two yankees communities and only one red sox community anyway. kinda weird...but whatever. good luck in the post season!

Also, sorry to throw cold water on your vaguely patronizing tone, but I don't "start shit." I saw comments I disagreed with/found funny, such as your "Red Sox celebrate too much" input, and remarked on them. I didn't sling insults, use profanity (or, actually, I don't recall using any -- if I used any, it wasn't 1/10 of the profanity I normally use), or spend hours trying to piss people off, as is the case with many baseball fans on LJ. I was banned by an uptight, bad-tempered moderator for laughing at people who spent the entire course of their summers lazing around on the couch and stressing over baseball -- which is, quite frankly, pathetic beyond words.
That said, I'm glad you're so interested in an internet denizen to flock to her personal journal and poke around. Slightly. At least you were volumes more polite than The Thing a few entries down: I'm sorry but the Red Sox blow. They look like a bunch of fucking assholes. Johnny Damon(I believe thats his name) looks like a fucking caveman. They wont win another World Series until Haley's Comet passes, which is a long ass time. Rabid baseball fans like Thing are welcome to sling it out with me on communities if they wish, but my personal journal is none of their business, and I shouldn't have to turn the entire thing friends-only to keep her out.

im sorry that things like that were said about boston..obviously that person was probly frustrated and naturally, we all just hate the red sox. but you have to realize that it IS an ANTI-red sox community...we can say whatever we want about the red sox without people like you starting arguments. you have your red sox community to say stuff like that about the yankees, so don't bring your red sox loving self into a community like that and expect a warm welcome. that's just not how it goes. that's the place where we say all the crap about them that we want..and someone like you can't really stop us. i actually think it wasn't a bad decision that you were banned...no one wants to start arguments, and since you happened to be the cause of a little argument that went on, you can't really expect people to want you to stay in the community.
and please don't make your journal friends only on account of me..i just felt the need to comment because i found it funny you quoted me when you don't know me.

No, that person was just an idiot. And, sorry, but I didn't expect a warm welcome. I, frankly, join anti-Red Sox communities because the idiocy of some of the members amuses me. I've come to the conclusion that there's a formula for baseball insults in general: "Pussy" + [insert a "your mom" insult here] + something regarding one's financial/STD status + obligatory gay joke. It's just ridiculous, but it's damn well hilarious, and a great read when you're waiting for the slow live-scoring update to change during a big game. (I can't watch Sox games here or at home, unless ESPN or FOX decides to show them.) I also like to argue, so when I see something that sounds at least vaguely intelligent, I'll give a coherent opinion. It isn't a matter of wanting to "stop" anyone; it's a matter of boredom and feeling like putting in my two cents -- not necessarily to Yankee bash.
I honestly couldn't give less of a damn that people didn't "want" me in the community. I was there, and now I'm banned. *shrug*

PS: If I'd been waiting 8 years for the Sox to win the AL East, I might have been frustrated about the Yankees' winning it, but as it is, I've only been a fan for about two years, and I don't care how we get to the postseason as long as we do, period.
